Liliya has been a member of the Smartsolutions team since June 2025.

She has over 15 years of professional legal experience and has been a qualified attorney-at-law since 2008. Her practice focuses on international business structuring, IT project support, and M&A transactions, as well as corporate, tax, and antitrust law.

Liliya possesses expertise in handling credit and mortgage transactions, specializing in debt restructuring and credit debt optimization. She has successful experience representing clients’ interests before courts in foreign jurisdictions.

What do you focus on when making difficult decisions at work?

When making difficult decisions, I focus on long-term consequences, legal compliance, and the balance between business interests and potential risks. My goal is not merely to find a formally correct solution, but one that will withstand the test of time, regulatory scrutiny, and practical implementation.

I begin by clearly defining the objective and context, followed by structuring the task and identifying key risks and potential scenarios. Subsequently, I seek a solution that is legally sound, practically viable, and aligned with business goals rather than one that simply meets formal requirements.
