Thus, the lawyers of Smartsolutions achieved the annulment of the court decision of one of the district courts of Zakarpattia region regarding the wrongful closure of the criminal proceeding against persons accused of illegal rebroadcasting of the television channels of a leading Ukrainian media group using IPTV technology.
On June 16, 2022, the panel of judges of the Lviv Court of Appeal considered the appeal of the lawyer Vitaliy Voloshyn and, after hearing the arguments of the parties, satisfied the appeal filed in the interests of the right holder. Therefore, the consideration of the criminal case by the court of the 1st instance will be continued, and the criminals will certainly receive a fair punishment.
